This scene is one of the main reasons this movie is so memorable to me, despite all of its faults. The graphics were everything to me when I first watched it when I was little.
The talent show performance rewired my brain too. Peep the TRS-80 Color Computer!
Unfortunately to everyone around me, I quote this movie a lot. This speech in particular lives rent free in my head to the point that I've internalized it.
